Rev. James Flud

Rev. James Ray Flud, age 77 of Pottsville, died Monday, February 21, 2011 at Chambers Memorial Hospital.

He was born August 8, 1933 at Mcintosh, OK to the late Nathaniel and Ruby Gertrude Brackett Flud.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Velta Flud; three brothers, Winford, Nathaniel and Glen Flud.

Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Jennifer Flud of Pottsville, Mike and Peggy Flud of Russellville, Rev. Donald and Cindy Flud of Warren; three brothers, Woody Flud of California, T.L. Flud and wife Joyce of Weatherford, TX, Gary Flud and wife Linda of London; two sisters, Shirley Trimmer and husband Earl of London, Donna Bowlin and husband Bob of Russellville; ten grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Thursday, February 24, 2011 at Harvest Time Pentecostal Church of God with Bishop Eric Flud officiating. Burial was in East Point Cemetery in London.

Pallbearers: Ricky Flud, David Long, Randy and Hayden Flud, Tyler Sears, Kevin Long, Jeffery Knox, Jason Robison.

Honorary Pallbearer: Braden Jones.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 24, 2011 at Harvest Time Pentecosatal Church of God with Bishop Eric Flud officiating. Burial will be in East Point Cemetery in London.

Visitation will be Wednesday 6 to 8 p.m. at Cornwell Funeral in Dardanelle, AR.

Bonnie Lula Flurry

Bonnie Lula Flurry, age 88, of Dardanelle died Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at Dardanelle Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born March 24, 1926 to the late Jake and Rhoda Smith Lott. She was a Christian, loved playing bingo, Find a Word Puzzles, crocheting and quilting, shelling pecans and watching the Texas Rangers. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ralph "Buddy" Flurry Sr.; son, Ralph Flurry Jr., granddaughter, Candy Moro, brothers, Buster, Veldy, Garvin"Bigum", Leroy "Bunk", Jay, George, Carl, Homer and Russell, sister, Ila Smith.

Survivors include one son, Robin Flurry and wife Cheryl of Coal Hill; one daughter, Rhonda Wade of Dardanelle; one sister, Marie Darter of Dardanelle; two grandchildren, Shanon (Kim)Wade of Russellville, Carmen Flurry (Jonathan) Halbert three great grandchildren, Jared Wade of Russellville, Blake Wade of Texas and Brooke Lewis of Russellville.

Funeral Services were held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, February 9, 2015 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle. Burial will be in Durvin Cemetery.

Smith and Jim Bill Moudy of San Maria Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Ruby Patterson of Garden Grove, Calif, and Mrs. Jewel Curtsinger of Fresno, Calif.; and 6 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at the First Baptist Church at Danville with Rev. Jack Bledsoe and Rev. E.O. Tackett officiating. Burial was in Danville Cemetery.

She was born Nov. 1, 1928, in Russellville. She married Herman H. Ford Dec. 7, 1946, in Russellville.

Mrs. Ford was preceded in death by her husband and her parents, John B. and Bessie Bowden Keener.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda J. Manning of Kansas City, Mo.; three sons, Ronald Ford of Liberty, Mo., Donald Ford of Russellville and Timothy Ford of St. Joseph; her sister, Lela Robertson of Conway; nine grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

The service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Inurnment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum at a later date.

The family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m. Sunday.
