Walter Lamb, aged 88, of Plainview, a retired timber worker, died Saturday in the Yell County Hospital at Danville. He was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church at Plainview.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Jack Lamb of Galt, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Lloyd Mercer of Ola, Mrs. Jess Bair of Mtn. Pine and Mrs. Raymond Rounsaville of Sacramento, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Carrie Flurry of Oklahoma City; and 24 grandchildren.

Amanda Rachelle Lambert

Amanda Rachelle Lambert, age 33, of Plainview died Saturday, August 29, 2015, at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith. She was born January 12, 1982, at Lubbock, TX to Clifford and Patricia Emery Hales. She was a member of the Trinity House of Prayer, Cowgirls for Christ, and the Yell County Riding Club. She loved to hunt and ride horses.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bill and Mable Hales.

Survivors include her husband, Jim Lambert of Plainview; her parents, Clifford and Pat Hales of Rover; two children, Colton Lambert and Ethan Lambert both of Plainview; two sisters, Shelly Lambert (Marty) of Plainview, Lisa Cassilas (Ponch) of Danville; grandparents, Junior and Bea Emery of Plainview and many other relatives and close friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at Trinity House of Prayer with Pastor Eva Houston and Sherry Hales officiating.

Burial will be in Reed Cemetery.

Visitation was held Tuesday, 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Trinity House of Prayer.

Pallbearers include Ann Willis, Cindy Dawson, Sherry Hales, Jamie McEwen, Sharon Burfield, Martie Lee, Carole Dewitt, Connie Curtis, Denise Alexander, Holley Hudspeth and Breanda Highfill.

Honorary pallbearers include Grandeur Fasteners' employee.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Trinity House of Prayer.

Barbara Melton Lambert

Barbara Melton Lambert 70 of New Blaine found eternal peace on June 1st at St Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock Arkansas.

Barbara was a stay at home mother, hair dresser, and former employee of the Plainview Rover school district she was a graduate of Fourche Valley High school. She was a friend to everyone she met, loved to dance, sing and play with her grandchildren. Her motto in life was to Live, Love, and Laugh.

She is preceded in death by her father and mother Arley and Jewel Melton, her brother Bobby Melton and her husband Vernon E. (Sonny) Lambert.

She is survived by her children Brian Lambert of Fayetteville, William Lambert of Bella Vista and Cheryl Dee Lambert of New Blaine, her sister Nina Lolfland of New Blaine and seven grandchildren, and several nephews & nieces.

Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 5, 2014 at Mt Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Charles Lambert

Charles Douglas Lambert, age 74, of Belleville passed away Thursday, November 22, 2018 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville.

Charles was born November 5, 1944 in Exeter, California to the late John Vernon & Willie Delane McDaniel Lambert. He was a Army Veteran and a retired truck driver.

He was preceded in death by his parents, infant brother, William Eric Lambert, and brother Vemon Edwin "Sonny" Lambert, sister-in-law, Barbara Lambert.

Survivors include his children, Eric Lambert of Little Rock; Chris & Cindy Lambert of Rogers; Stephanie Shepherd of Havana; sisters, Karen Knaff of Silver Springs, Maryland; Michele Lambert of Olney, Maryland; Lisa & Jerry Defoor of Bluffion; grandchildren, Heather, Ashley, Alexis, Levi, Dillan; great-grandchildren, Addy, Kelton, Abraela, Riley; the mother of his children Betty Lambert of Booneville; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A memorial celebration visitation will be 2-4 pm Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at the funeral home.

Preceded in death by his parents, sons, Clifford Lambert & Billy Lambert; granddaughter, Gala Lambert; grandson, James Clinton Lambert; sisters, Judy Waggoner & Ilene Webb; brother, Clyde Lambert and nephew, Kevin Lambert.

Survivors include sons, Tommy Lambert of Aly, Larry & Judy Lambert of Aly, James Lambert of Bluffton, Jim & Amanda Lambert of Aly; daughter, Brenda & Jeff Highfill of Plainview; sister, Inez Solley of Fort Smith; 10 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several nephews & nieces.

Dale Lambert age 63 of Gravelly passed away Friday, October 21, 2011 at his home.

He was born January 14, 1948, in Waldron, Arkansas, to the late Lewis Burvin & Bobbie Eloise Gallimore Lambert. He was President and General Manager of Lambert Motors in Danville and a member of the Mulberry Freewill Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by his parents, Lewis Burvin & Betty Lambert and Lois & Herman Gallimore; grandparents Eustus Lee & Mary Ella Gallimore, Lewis A. & Zoda Lambert; sister Phyllis Reed; brother-in-law Gaylon Reed.

Survivors include wife of 43 years Elaine Patton Lambert; daughter & son-in-law Mary Lynn & Mitchell Mentz of Danville; son & daughter-in-law Lewis Dale & Rhonda Lambert of Russellville; sister & brother-in-law Janell & Noral Stamps of Waldron; Tommy & Lynn Vanover of Gravelly, grandchildren, Ethan & Lauren Mentz; Braden, Jordan and Kaleb Lambert; step-grandchildren Zachary & Kim Adams and Michelle & Morgan Muncy.

Funeral service was Monday, October 24, 2011 at Danville First Baptist Church with Bro. Jason Fryer and J.A. Hunnicutt officiating. Burial will be at Reed Cemetery in Story.

She was born June 23, 1938, in Waldron, Arkansas to the late Earl & Faye Sparks Nelson. She was a member of the Aly Community Church, and a mother and homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Billy Lambert and Clifford Lambert; brothers, Ronnie and Ed Nelson; granddaughter, Gayla Lambert; grandson, James Clinton Lamert and daughter-in-law Amanda Lambert.

Survivors include her children, Brenda (Jeff) Highfill; Larry (Judy) Lambert; Tommy Lambert; James Lambert and Jim Lambert all of Plainview; brother, Gary (Robbie) Nelson; sister-in-law, Debbie Nelson all of Waldron; eleven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and friends.

Graveside service will be 10 am Wednesday, May 9, 2018, at Reed Cemetery in Story. Visitation will be 9 to 10 am before service at the cemetery.

Betty J. Lampkin, 82, of Bluffton, died Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at her home. She was born September 30, 1932, in Appleton, to William Newton and Macie Geneva Webb Kelley. She was the former plant manager secretary for Firestone Tire and Rubber Company in Russellville, and a Methodist.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Geral Edward Kelley and Edgar Lyle Kelley; and three sisters, Opal Duvall, Alta Reynolds and Alma Kelley.

Survivors include her husband, Hoyt Lampkin; two step-sons, Byron Lampkin and Chris Lampkin; a step-daughter, Lisa Shelby; five step-grandchildren, Alexandra Lampkin, Ashton Lampkin, Savanna Shelby, Mollie Shelby and Joseph Shelby.

The funeral service was 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 7, 2015, at the Bluffton United Methodist Church, with burial in Bluffton Cemetery, by Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
